The Thief is a character from the movie: The Thief and the Cobbler.
His appearance is somewhat of an ugly poverty-plagued man,
Throughout the entire film, he wears a ragged brownish-greenish robe, a yellow slipper on his right foot and a creamy white hat with a red zigzag line going across it.

The strangest thing about the Thief is that when he talks, he doesn't move his mouth to form the words.
He steals valuable objects or worthless things,
It seems that he doesn't care what he takes or if it's not his,
He just steals what he steals,
He takes what he takes,
He wants what he wants.
At one point in the movie, He (unknowingly) stole from himself, He started dancing and chuckling to himself at how clever he was, until he stops with this peculiar look on his face.
He's seen with flies buzzing around his head,
At the end of the film, He's says, "Thes flies are diving me crazy", He steals the 'THE END' sign, along with the film credits and runs off.
